2PRT Modular Surfboard

Industrial designer Thomas Meyerhoffer has an interesting background. A former Senior Designer at Apple, he's also the Co-founder & Chief Design Officer of Latch, and a master surfboard shaper. It's this latter detail that comes into play with the 2PRT Modular Surfboard. As the name suggests, it has a two-piece design that lets you pack it down for travel, avoiding extra airline baggage fees and fitting in even compact cars. Nearly as important, it allows you to combine different nose and tail shapes, styles, and materials to create the perfect board for any conditions. The initial set should include one nose and two tails, with additional parts available separately.
