3D-Printed Ribeye Steak

Aleph Farms has introduced the world's first cultivated ribeye streak and it doesn't disappoint. The slaughter-free piece of meat was created in partnership with Technion Israel Institute of Technology and uses 3D bioprinting technology to replicate the qualities of traditional cuts of meat. Starting with real cow cells, the process prints these living cells and cultivates them in a lab to produce the texture, taste, and nutrients of a ribeye you'd order at your favorite steakhouse. The company aims to develop additional meat design and even create offerings that can be adapted for the different food cultures around the world to transition the global food system into a more sustainable direction.
