Situated on the Renon plateau overlooking the city of Bolzano, the Adler Lodge Ritten is an eco-hotel in Italy's Dolomites. The resort is comprised of two guest buildings with junior suites and 20 lakeside chalets. Inspired by the surrounding forest, the cabins are made from natural materials including sustainably harvested wood. Their minimalist forms resemble the area's alpine shelters while the dark facade fades into the surrounding trees. Interiors are clad in natural timber and feature private bio saunas and floor-to-ceiling glazing highlighting the surrounding landscape. Aside from lodging, the property offers a main lodge with a bar, restaurant, and spa as well as two saunas nestled in the forest. Guests are also encouraged to take full advantage of the surroundings by exploring the mountains and meadows on foot, bikes, or skis.
