Apple's first major update for the Watch came in Series 4. It seems they're settling into a pattern because after keeping the same design for three iterations, the Series 7 is all-new. Most notable is the screen, which is larger, brighter, and has borders of just 1.7mm. It's covered by a new crack-resistant crystal that has refractive edges to better integrate the screen into the sides of the device, in keeping with the refined shape and more rounded corners. In addition to its existing waterproofing, rated to 50 meters, it also offers IPX6 dust resistance. Available later this fall.
