Archer Midnight eVTOL Aircraft

Archer's Midnight eVTOL recently completed its Phase 1 trial and aims to start "for credit" FAA testing later in 2024. The Midnight is an electric short-haul, back-to-back urban mobility solution, with trips averaging 20 minutes and 10-minute charge times in between flights. 12 propellers allow the Midnight to take off vertically and transition to level flight while carrying a projected 1,000-pound payload. The next step for Archer's Midnight is the incremental speed tests of Phase 2, where it will fly at increasing speeds until it reaches full transition from vertical to level flight.
