Ares S1 Project Coupe

Ares is known for creating bespoke versions of the world's best luxury and performance cars and SUVs. As the next step in their evolution as a company, they're building their own hypercar, the S1 Project. A clean-sheet, ground-up design, the S1 makes extensive use of computer-aided design and computational fluid dynamics to optimize aerodynamics while allowing for a unique exterior. The bodywork and monocoque chassis are both constructed of hand-laid carbon fiber with forged aluminum double-wishbone suspension components. The heart of the S1 is a normally-aspirated V8 revving to 8,800 RPM and making 715 horsepower, enough to push it from 0-62 in an estimated 2.7 seconds. 24 are planned for production starting in January 2021.
