Aspark Owl Electric Supercar

After four years in development, what might be the pinnacle of EV tech is entering production — the Aspark Owl electric hypercar. Very little has changed since the car's introduction at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2017. The radical, wind-tunnel sculpted bodywork is nearly identical and the most import feature — four electric motors making 2,012 horsepower and 1,475 ft-lb of torque to all four wheels — is intact. The Owl rockets from 0-60 in 1.72 seconds and on to a top speed of249 MPH. A 64kWh lithium-ion battery pack is good for 249 miles of range, although that figure to vary wildly depending on how much you use the accelerator pedal. The Owl weighs 4,200 pounds, but the instant power, a rigid carbon fiber monocoque chassis, carbon-reinforced composite body panels, and a total height of just over 38 inches mean that handling won't suffer. Orders are starting now, with just 10 of 50 total units allotted for the North American market.
