Nissan GT-R(X) 2050 Concept

As the GT-R turns 50 this year, Nissan is looking towards the future by recognizing Jaebum "JB" Choi's senior design thesis with a scaled-down model of his GT-R(X) concept. Choi imagines the GT-R 30 years from now as a totally autonomous vehicle that responds to the diver via a direct neural connection. The "X" theme of the design sees the driver lying prone with arms and legs extended in an x, wearing a close-fitting suit and helmet that relay commands to the car. Choi's concept makes his vision of the GT-R the purest driving experience imaginable with the car "worn" like a second skin.
