There is apparently an alternate timeline in which the vehicle Doc used to build his time machine was a 1967 VW Bus, and Velocity Motors has that Bus for sale. What they refer to as an "homage" to Back to the Future offers a much more spacious and practical way to time travel, and references the DeLorean down to the last detail.
