Renault Symbioz Concept

Photographing concept cars outside equally futuristic homes is nothing new. The Renault Symbioz Concept is the first we've seen to incorporate the house as part of the concept itself. The car itself, envisioned as a vehicle for the 2030s, is electric, autonomous, and fully connected. On the road, it offers a welcoming, home-like atmosphere, but when parked inside the home, it doubles as an extra room. Since it was designed as a living room, it can serve as an extension of that space. With the doors closed, it can become a private space for office or work. Or, most fantastically, a lifting platform can raise the car all the way to the rooftop terrace, where it offers views of your surroundings. Also, the car can also function as a backup battery for the home in the event of a blackout, powering screens, appliances, and, after dark, lights, while the home's glass facade provides natural light throughout the day.
