Volkswagen California XXL Camper

Don't get excited — despite the California name, VW won't be selling it in the US anytime soon. Based on the Crafter commercial van, the California XXL is an RV that would put the pop-top Microbus to shame. The fully-outfitted interior has a built in stove, cooler, bath and an upper heated and cooled sleeping compartment with a panoramic glass roof. There is seating for four, with the two front seats being able to swivel around to face the two rear forward-facing ones. Add to that a plethora of storage areas and a light, airy design, and you have a VW better prepared to go places than anything since the legendary Microbus.
