Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Artisans de Geneve offers exclusive watch modifications for a select group of customers. Their latest reinterpretation is a tribute to the famed 6536 Brown Rolex Submariner which made its debut in 1955. Each detail of the timepiece is meticulously designed to honor the original with modifications like a new steel bezel, a machined case that removes the crown guard, along with lugs that are beveled and polished by hand. The dial was also entirely reworked and finished by hand before being aged with luminous material to give it the same appearance of the 1950's Rolex. And the original qualities of the Rolex 3130 movement were also preserved, with the addition of a signature 21 ct massive gold rotor that can be seen through the added transparent sapphire case back.
