Asics Gel-Lyte III CM 1.95 Sneakers
Asics gets closer to its goal of being net zero by 2050 with the Gel-Lyte III CM 1.95. The sneaker boasts the lightest carbon footprint, emitting just 1.95kg of CO2e. Its superior sustainability is a combination of a carbon-negative foam made from bio-based polymers partly derived from sugarcane and used midsole and sock liner, a recycled polyester upper, and an innovative tape construction that requires fewer materials, therefore less waste. Going a step further, they've minimized packing materials and used biofuel for transportation. The shoe will be released later next year.
