Astell&Kern SP3000T Audio Player

Don't be fooled by its appearance. Underneath Astell&Kern's SP3000T audio player is a marriage of analog and digital: A pair of NOS Raytheon JAN6418 vacuum tubes to add analog warmth to digital audio. Roughly the size of a smartphone, the SP3000T's silver-plated stainless steel exterior features a window on the back showing the JAN6418s in all their soft, orange glory. Digital and analog processing is handled separately, along with three voltage level selections, a Tube Current option, and Astell&Kern's Trimple Amp system. LDAC aptX HD support and NativeDSD 512 support are powered by a Snapdragon Octa-Core CPU. The SP3000T is available now.
