The AI:Trail concept looks at first glance like Audi's attempt at making an off-planet vehicle, not something merely for going offroad here on earth. An all-electric vehicle, the AI:Trail encloses its passengers in a glass bubble, and the massively knobby tires appear nearly separate from the body with only small fenders covering them. Despite its futuristic styling, the AI:Trail uses the drivetrain from the E-Tron SUV and was designed for pushing it to the limit. To go along with the space-buggy looks, there are features that are way ahead of their time, like rooftop-mounted drones that replace the headlights and Level 4 autonomous driving.
