Audio-Technica is celebrating its 60th anniversary of making high-quality audio gear with its most advanced wireless headphones yet. The ATH-WB2022 is hand-assembled at Audio-Technica's facility in Naruse, Tokyo, and showcases Audio-Technica's Japanese craftsmanship. The earcups are made from flamed maple, mahogany, and walnut sourced from Japanese guitar maker Fujigen and house a newly-designed 45mm driver with velour-covered pads and headband. Audiophile-grade reproduction comes courtesy of two ESS ES9038Q2M DACs in each channel, with two Nisshinbo Micro Devices' MUSES05 op-amps providing clean, clear amplification. Each channel is powered by its own rechargeable batteries. The ATH-WB2022 will be available in early 2023.
