The last Honda V10 Ayrton Senna ever raced

Most of the time, F1 racing engines are sent back to the shop so engineers can examine them for areas of stress and look for things to improve. When Ayrton Senna was winning the 1990 Formula 1 World Championship, Honda was busy developing a V12 for the following campaign. So when this engine, serial RA100E-V805, was finished with the 1990 Japanese and Australian Grand Prix events, it was shipped home but put into storage. It was recently discovered, and Honda Racing decided to do something special: it disassembled the engine, cleaned it, and had it mounted in a cabinet for permanent display. Laid out piece-by-piece, it's even more impressive and would make for a grail-level addition to any garage or motoring enthusiast's collection. It comes up for auction during Bonhams' Quail Hollow auction on August 15th.
