Bladnoch Distillery has been making delicious whisky for over 200 years. This makes them one of the oldest in the Lowland region but does not exclude them from continuing to blaze new trails. One of their newest releases received special recognition at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition this year when Pure Scot took home the double gold. The award-winning spirit is made using a smooth Single Malt that is combined with whisky from Speyside, the Highlands, and Islay to create Pure Scot, which is known for its beautiful balance of smoke with sweet fruit flavors and a slight pepperiness.
