Blloc got their start making a smartphone. Built atop Android, it used a lack of color as a way to help users avoid distractions. The idea hasn't changed, but the execution has changed: Ratio is a launcher, installable on many Android phones. It allows the user to take a piecemeal approach to color — keeping Twitter greyscale while Camera gets a full color, for instance — and helps keep track of time spent in each app. It's in beta now for some OnePlus, Pixel, and Samsung models, with expanded support planned for the future.
