Blood Oath Pact 8 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Once a year master distiller John Rempe sources the finest bourbons he can find, blending them in a release known as Blood Oath. For the eighth release, or pact, he's sourced 14-year-old and 11-year-old rye bourbons, as well as an 8-year-old bourbon finished in casks previously used to age calvados, a brandy made from apples or pears in the Normandy region of France. The latter adds notes of apple, vanilla, and cinnamon to the blend, resulting in a truly unique pour. Bottled at 98.6 proof, it will be available on shelves later this month.
