BMW Concept XM SUV
BMW's M division's first car was the M1, a mid-engined homologation special designed to race in the FIA's Group B. Over 40 years later, the next standalone M model will be an SUV — the thinly-disguised XM concept. The most powerful M BMW has ever produced, The XM will be powered by a plug-in hybrid V8 making 750 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. The XM's exterior will draw plenty of comments, continuing BMW's drive to make the signature twin-kidney grille as prominent as possible, heavily creased lines, and an unusual take on the Hofmeister kink. The concept's interior is driver-centric, with materials like distressed leather, copper, and carbon fiber.
