BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Car

BMW will contest the 2023 IMSA season with an all-new machine that celebrates 50 years of M Power with a hybrid V8 powertrain — and maybe its best take yet on the twin-kidney grille. BMW Group Designworks penned the camouflage red, white, and blue color scheme complete with 50th-anniversary graphics and even an ode to the Hofmeister kink on the windows. The design further references BMW's history in motorsport with BMW Icon headlights, M hook mirrors, and taillight treatment. The M Hybrid will take to the track when the IMSA season starts next year.
