Brabus 800 Widestar SUV

Brabus wasted no time giving Mercedes' all-new G-Class its signature touch, rolling out the Brabus 700 Widestar only a few months after the SUVs debut. As good as the 700 Widestar is, it wasn't enough, because Brabus has now unleashed the 800 Widestar. The 800 Widestar leapfrogs the 700 with 100 more horsepower and 40 lb-ft of torque for a total of 789 and 740 respectively — in other words, this G-Class packs stats that put it in supercar territory. 0-60 happens in 4.1 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 149 MPH, which is a good idea in a boxy SUV like this. A nine-speed transmission with aluminum paddles handles shifting duties, and the interior is exactly what one would expect from Brabus — top-quality quilted leather and a tasteful smattering of Brabus logos. The exterior is similar to the 700 Widestar with LED lighting and plenty of carbon fiber. The only thing left to wonder is where Brabus goes from here.
