In 1972, the Porsche Design Studio was established by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, the designer of the Porsche 911. This extension of the automobile brand follows the design legacy through a wide range of products from watches and electronics to premium luggage and accessories.

Form and function collide with the announced release of the 1919 Globetimer Gold Edition Watch. Built around an elegant 18-karat gold case with a case back showing 24 world time zones, the Globetimer runs on a new automatic WERK 04.110 movement, which features a second-time-zone module that was developed exclusively for Porsche Design by legendary complications manufacturer Dubois Dépraz in Switzerland. As intricate as it is under the hood, the innovative pushers make it simple for the wearer to operate, designed with drivers in mind for quick adjustments behind the wheel without the need to unlock the crown to jump the local hour hand in whole-hour increments as you move across time zones. It also has a black dial with minute, hour, and central second hands along with a contrasting gold date scale on the inner ring, 24-hour scale on the outer ring, and a subtle day and night display at 9 o'clock. The highly legible display is protected by sapphire crystal with seven layers of non-reflective coating. A final automotive link comes in the form of the black Porsche car leather strap, complete with tonal stitching and a folding titanium clasp with pusher and black PVD coating and a buckle made of 18-karat gold.

Powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW330 movement, it has a date window at 3 o'clock and a power reserve of 42 hours. The sleek, lightweight design feels good in your hand and also includes a cigar punch that is ideal for travel or when a cutter isn't handy. The P'3631 is finished with an integrated window that displays the exact level of lighter fluid left in the refillable 1.5-gram tank.
Porsche Design's cigar cutter sports two razor-sharp blades, crafted with Japanese steel, that help provide the perfect cut for every cigar. Aviators were common when Porsche Design released the P´8478 in 1978. Interchangeable lenses were not — the P´8478 were the first sunglasses to offer them, cementing their status as a design icon. The lenses are released by flipping up the bridge, letting you quickly change them as necessary. The black frame is made from high-quality titanium to reduce weight and looks great with both the pre-installed grey blue and included mercury silver mirrored lenses. Available in two sizes.

Named for the year the Bauhaus was founded, the Porsche Design 1919 Datetimer Watch embraces minimalism without sacrificing functionality. It's powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW200 movement and finished with a matching titanium strap with folding clasp closure.
