Bruichladdich Octomore 10.4 Scotch Whisky
The fourth release in the tenth edition of their peat-forward line, Octomore 10.4 is the youngest expression Bruichladdich has released. It was distilled from Scottish barley in 2016 and aged in virgin oak for three years before being bottled at 127 proof. The distillers used 28 casks cut from Limousin oak that were heavily toasted before filling, and a high tannic impact is smoothed out nicely by the toast level to make this strong, young whisky much more approachable. Limited to 12,000 bottles worldwide.
