BUSY Bar Productivity Device
Flipper Devices built its reputation on the Flipper Zero, a cult hacking tool known for cloning RFID cards, key fobs, and radio signals, capable enough that some countries moved to restrict it. The BUSY Bar comes from the same team, but points the same hacker ethos in the opposite direction: instead of breaking into systems, it's built to keep you out of your own. The device sits on your desk or monitor and displays a custom status on a 72x16 RGB LED matrix, visible to anyone nearby, while a second monochrome display on the back lets you check your own status without turning it around. It runs a built-in Pomodoro timer, splitting work into 25-minute sessions with 5-minute breaks, and can block distracting apps like Instagram and TikTok on your phone for the full session. It activates automatically when your mic or camera turns on, when streaming software like OBS starts running, or manually with a physical button. It connects to Matter-based smart home systems, runs on fully open-source firmware, and exposes an HTTP API for anyone who wants to build their own integrations. It's the same openness that made the Flipper Zero a hit, aimed at getting you to put your phone down instead.
