Byton K-Byte Concept Sedan
Byton debuted its first concept vehicle at the 2018 CES show, an all-electric crossover with a lot of tech. Their second concept is a level four autonomous sedan that comes standard with cameras and LIDAR sensors front and rear. The car is capable of self-driving and fully autonomous operation in some but not all environments, but the equipment likely means that it will be upgradable in future. The Chinese startup has a studio in California and completed a $500 million round of funding — meaning Tesla might have some real competition on its hands.
