Cabot Bordeaux
The Cabot Collection's suite of golf resorts includes courses in Nova Scotia, Florida, and Saint Lucia, and now, thanks to a recent acquisition of the Golf du Medoc Resort, the heart of France's wine country. It's their first in Europe, and sure to draw crowds, both because of its two 18-hole courses — one designed by Bill Coore and another by Rod Whitman — known for low evergreens, taller native grasses, and natural water features and its proximity to some of the world's most-renowned winemakers in the nearby village of Saint-Émilion. When it opens, the resort will feature a 79-room hotel, a restaurant, and an on-site spa, with an overhauled interior identity by Russell Sage Studio, which specializes in blending modern and heritage design, both in Europe and elsewhere.
