The Eames Institute Archives

Ray and Charles Eames applied their design sense to many disciplines, including furniture, architecture, film, and more. The Eames Institute Archives features over 40,000 items relating to their work, spanning the range from Eames chair prototypes and prints to tools, personal items, and ephemera that influenced their designs. For the first time, the Institute is opening its doors to the public on a limited, reservation-only basis. Llisa Demetrios, chief curator of the Eames Institute and granddaughter of Ray and Charles, plays host on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for groups of ten on their campus in Richmond, CA.
