Dream of the Desert Train

The Arsenale Group and Saudia Arabia Railways will be joining together to launch the first luxury train to cross the Kingdom's desert expanse in 2025. Running from the capital Riyadh to Al Qurayyat on the northern border with Jordan, the route will take passengers through the rugged terrain and UNESCO World Heritage archeological sites. Dubbed the Dream of the Desert, the train itself will carry 80 passengers in 40 cabins, with one or two nights depending on the destination. Beginning in Riyadh, the 770-mile trip runs through Al Qassim, Hail, and the King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve in Al Jouf, before ending in Al Qurayyat. Production will begin in 2025 with the first run scheduled for the end of 2025.
