Cadillac InnerSpace Autonomous EV Concept
True autonomous driving is still more science fiction than reality, but Cadillac's latest EV concept sells the future with sweeping lines and a focus on the interior. The short front overhang combined with the long rear gives the InnerSpace the look of motion while standing still. Standard opening doors are combined with a clamshell roof that makes for dramatic ingress and egress, which is the point of a car that's made to not be driven by humans. Inside is a width-spanning display and surprisingly, a bench-type seat — something that hasn't been seen in a passenger car since the demise of the Crown Victoria and Town Car. In an effort to isolate passengers from the outside world as completely as possible, Goodyear has provided tires made from rice husks and soybean oil-based silica.
