Sony Vision-S 02 Concept SUV

Sony's plan to enter the EV market just got serious with the reveal of the Vision-S 02 concept a the 2022 CES. The Vision-S that debuted last year was billed as a testbed for autonomous driving research, but the 02 is a serious effort at a production concept — along with the formation of Sony Mobility, Inc. The Vision-S 02 is a four seven-passenger crossover that features the self-driving tech developed for the Vision-S, with an emphasis on in-car entertainment. Seat-mounted speakers combine with interior units to create a 360-degree sound experience and the dash-width display doubles as an entertainment center. The Vision-S 02 is powered by two electric motors making 536 horsepower, although Sony hasn't released any range figures or charging times.
