Canoo expects to launch its first vehicle, an electric van, in 2022 as a subscription service — not available to outright purchase like a traditional car. To show off the capability of their electric platform, Canoo stripped it down to the bare essentials and had driver Sara Price put it through its paces in the desert. The ultra-low floor and flat, wide-open design thanks to the packaging of the battery and electric motors mean that Canoo can drop nearly any kind of body on the chassis.
