Overlooking the river, the Castle Creek Valley House is contemporary lodging in the mountains of Aspen. The 8,302-square-foot home offers five bedrooms and five baths situated on six acres. Nearly the entire dwelling is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling Hope steel windows affording every room extensive valley views. What isn't made of glazing is clad in rustic stone giving the exterior a lodge-like look. The interior is dressed in modern finishes that include dark wood floors, shiny black tile floors and counters, bright white walls, and sleek fixtures. Although there's no shortage of panoramas from the inside, large stone terraces and decks surround the exterior to provide unobstructed vistas of the mountains and Castle Creek river.
