After winning $180 million dollars playing the lottery, Rick Knudsen did what anyone else would do — bought a mountaintop estate in Southern California. The 16,000 square-foot lodge-style home is sited on an 845-acre plot that includes two ponds, a 45-head buffalo ranch, a steakhouse, and its own saloon. The interior is equally as impressive with five bedrooms, a gym, wine cellar, and 17-seat theater with a George Lucas sound system. There's plenty of glazing and outdoor decks throughout to take advantage of the elevated views of the surrounding mountains, the Salton Sea, and Catalina in the distance. Also on the property is a massive six-bay garage, two barns, and a caretakers cabin.
