Chevrolet Corvette UK Design Concept

General Motors recently opened a new advanced design studio in the UK. Alongside the official opening, they unveiled a new Corvette-based concept created by the UK team as part of a global design project. The design draws inspiration from the aviation industry, with an upper half that echoes classic Corvette design elements in a futuristic manner, including a structural vertical center spine inspired by the "split window" 1963 Sting Ray. The lower half is more functional, with EV battery technology integrated into the structure and aero elements meant to channel air without the need for wings or spoilers. There are no plans to develop the concept for production, but it will be joined by concepts from other studios later this year.
