东日本旅客铁道公司（JR East）正准备用 E10 新干线取代其 E2 和 E5 子弹头列车。该列车是第一列由英国合作伙伴 Tangerine 设计的列车，其涂装和内饰灵感源自其经过的地区。外部顶部为浅绿色，底部为深蓝绿色，象征着森林和海岸线。内部重复使用蓝色和绿色，为不同座位等级奠定基础，图形元素灵感源自樱花的轮廓。目前正处于设计实施阶段，首批列车预计将于 2030 年投入使用。
