ColdSnap Frozen Treat Maker

Pod-based machines like Keurig and Nespresso have brought the convenience of hot, single-serve beverages into homes across the globe. Using the same technology, Sigma Phase is going to the other end of the spectrum to deliver in-house frozen treats. The countertop machine works with recyclable aluminum pods to produce ice cream, smoothies, shakes, and cocktails in under 90 seconds. Their patented technology freezes ingredients directly in the pod and dispenses them into a bowl, no prepping or clean-up required. Although the ColdSnap is still in its prototype phase, it's expected to be on the market by 2022.
