This 1990 Defender 110 truck spent its life as a farm truck in Spain, working the fields delivering people, tools, and supplies. The truck received a new lease on life when Common Wealth Classics of Virginia made it their next customer project, starting with a trip to Portugal. Unique Masterpieces performed a frame-off restoration, tearing down every last bolt, and rebuilding it with a combination of handwork and new parts. Painted charcoal grey over a black leather interior, this Defender 110 now sports a 200Tdi turbodiesel engine with variable-geometry turbo, custom intercooler, and a five-speed transmission. Air conditioning, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and Bilstein shocks and springs bring the creature comforts and ride and handling up to a modern level for a classic that belies its utilitarian exterior.
