Cosmonaut-Worn Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

"Moonwatch" is an affectionate name for Omega's Speedmaster line as a whole, reflecting its use on lunar missions. That said, only a handful have ever actually been to space. This is one of them, worn by Russian Cosmonaut Nikolai Budarin on three separate EVAs during the landmark STS-71/TM-21 joint mission between the US and Russia. Serial no. 4826777, it has the iconic stainless steel body, black dial with three sub-dials, and black tach bezel, and is powered by a caliber 861-based movement. It arrives with an original Omega black leather band and a signed letter of provenance from Nikolai Budarin, on special stationery flown and stamped aboard the Mir Space Station.
