CountrysideWays 1991 Porsche 911 Rally Car
The 911 is no stranger to the Dakar Rally. A modified all-wheel-drive variant of the 911, the 953, won the race in 1984, and the legendary 959 won in 1986. Agostino and Alberto Vassallo of Car&vintage will be running the 2022 Dakar Classic in their purpose-built 1991 964 Carrera 4. A collaboration with TAG Heuer and CountrysideWays, the 964 has been fitted with a roll cage and skid plates to protect vital components. The air-cooled flat-six has been refreshed to produce over 300 horsepower, fed by a massive 160-liter fuel tank. The suspension has been raised to fit massive BFGoodrich 35-inch tires on EVO Corse wheels, while artist BorromeodeSilva provided the street art-inspired paintwork.
