After an almost two-year renovation, the Daydream Island Resort reopens and is just that — a daydream. The mile-long retreat is located among Australia's Whitsundays island and features 277 revamped rooms and suites. Each one is a contemporary mix of cool grays and soft neutral tones creating a relaxing atmosphere to escape. The remodel also brought new restaurants, bars, an outdoor cinema, and three pools all within view of the Great Barrier Reef. You don't have to go far to experience marine life. Their Living Reef, a 200-meter, freeform coral lagoon, allows guests to join marine biologists and explore the water's over 100 species of sea creatures.
