Maputo is a great example, sourced from La Perla, Nanegal, located in the region northwest of the Pichincha Province in Ecuador. The high humidity combined with a blanket of mist that covers the field in the afternoons and significant temperature drops at night creates a microclimate that produces some of the best coffee on earth. Named for the main farm these beans were sourced from, Maputo is a washed coffee that is balanced and bright, with notes of sweet tropical fruit alongside a layered hazelnut flavor.
