Dreadnort Boats P.O.D. Camper

Dreadnort Boats combines a boat and camper to introduce an amphibious survival shelter. The New Zealand-based company began development on the P.O.D. Camper after the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in 2011 to create a retreat that could operate as both a caravan and a boat. It features a striking geodesic exterior with angular windows that make a honeycomb-like design. The interior offers 100 square feet of living space that can be customized to work as an office, glamping unit, guest room, camper, houseboat, or even an interplanetary rover. The P.O.D. can be towed on a trailer like a classic caravan and when at its destination, sits on a set of adjustable legs to prop the structure off the ground. For another layer of functionality, pair it with the optional solar panel system and turn it into an off-grid basecamp. It'll be available to order later in 2023.
