Gas-powered ATVs can go nearly anywhere. They're also loud. Brunswick, OH-based DRR has a solution in the Stealth Electric ATV. Comparable to 600cc utility four-wheeler, it's powered by a 72 volt, 4-kilowatt lithium-ion battery and electric motors that allow it to move in relative silence. Range is 35 miles uphill at maximum speed but can be expanded with an optional second battery pack, and charging takes just six hours via a standard three-prong outlet, with battery and speed info displayed on a digital dash. Disc brakes get it stopped, adjustable suspension keeps the ride smooth, the racks can carry loads of up to 365 lbs, and foot pegs allow a second rider to sit on the back.
