Electric Mustang by Charge
London-based Charge Cars is offering a limited run of 499 Mustangs with an all-electric drivetrain. The Charge '67 isn't a restomod, however. Each car is built on a new, licensed, US-made body shell based on the 1967 body style with a 536 horsepower electric motor and battery pack making 1,120 lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through an all-wheel-drive system. Charge claims a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds and a range of 200 miles, with DC fast charging capability. The ICE motor isn't the only change, however. The interior gets a luxurious upgrade worthy of a modern GT, along with suspension and subtle exterior mods that emphasize the Mustang's timeless lines.
