Good luck getting Ferrari to sell you a matte black Enzo — unless you're a member of the Brunei royal family. This being long before Ferrari's current willingness to customize, 400 Enzos are known to have been built with a choice of red, yellow, or black. A few more were painted blue, silver, grey, or white, but only a customer with the clout of the Brunei royal family could coerce Ferrari into delivering a Nero Opaco Enzo. The car was kept at the family's London residence, making the rare appearance on the streets of the city. A recent service by official Ferrari hypercar paint shop Carrozzeria Zanasi totaled over $110,000, with a full repaint, replacing of the rear glass, and headlights. The car will go to auction at Sotheby's early December event.
