Essence E-raw 04 Signature Motorcycle
Essence motorcycles got its start with a prototype built by founder Martin Hulin. That prototype went viral, and Hulin and his small team got to work on refining the concept into a lineup of four all-electric motorcycles. The E-raw 04 Signature takes a straightforward trellis frame and adds a flying seat made of brushed aluminum that looks like a piece of abstract art as the centerpiece of the bike's design. High-end forks and rear monoshock from Ohlins and a CNC-milled aluminum swingarm show that E-raw wasn't made just as point A-to-B transportation. The performance specs also back that up: the top-line motor makes 205 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Those are insane numbers for a motorcycle, and Essence puts nothing between the riders hand and the motor, with no traction control or the like. Essence claims 0-62 in 2.8 seconds and gearing for a top speed of 124 MPH. This puts the E-raw 04 Signature in the top echelon of motorcycles worldwide.
