F40 Countach Concept

In some corners of the automotive world, this mashup of two of the world's most iconic supercars — the Ferrari F40 and the Lamborghini Countach — would be anathema. But designer Abimelec Arellano has no such qualms and his F40 Countach concept captures the Decade of Excess like few other works. While the main shape is pure F40, Arellano has added trademark '80s Countach touches like the wing, wheels, and scoops over the rear fenders. The F40 came with a Ferrari first — a twin-turbo V8 — which has been replaced in the render by a V12. Add in the pastel colors and put on your favorite New Wave band for a perfect vignette of the decade.
