Frank Lloyd Wright's Hawthorne Drive Houses

Christie's is selling not one but two Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Known as the Eppstein House and Pratt House, the Usonian-style homes are located on The Acres near Kala Kalamazoo, Michigan. The 70-acre development was designed by Wright and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Both residences have undergone a five-year restoration to bring the structures up to date while maintaining their original details, including the architect's signature built-in furniture, mahogany paneling, and red concrete flooring. Both measure 2,200 square feet and were built in the early 1950s; the Pratt House features two bedrooms, a library, and a workshop, while the Eppstein offers three bedrooms and a living area with 10-foot glazing, affording expansive views of the wooded landscape.
